Call for Presentation

Application for oral/poster presentation and workshop

See LSJ Presentation Guidelines.

Notes on submission

  • There are two types of research presentations: oral presentations and poster presentations.
  • Please select your first or second choice between “oral presentation” and “poster presentation” when you apply for presentation.
  • If you wish to give only an oral presentation or only a poster presentation, please select only the first choice. Please note that, depending on the number of available presentation slots for each conference, your abstract may not be accepted even if it receives a higher evaluation than other submissions.
  • Workshop proposals will be reviewed independently from research presentations.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will decide on the acceptance or rejection of the abstract and the type of presentation.
  • Once accepted, the abstract submitted at the time of application will be published in the Conference Abstract Book. Requests for revisions, corrections, or replacements will not be accepted.

Online Presentations

  1. If you wish to give your presentation online, please indicate this at the time of application. If you wish to change your presentation format after acceptance, please notify us by noon, one week prior to the presentation date. Further details will be provided after acceptance.
  2. The conference steering committee will provide a Zoom meeting for presentations. Presenters are responsible for arranging a proxy to be present at the on-site venue on the day of the presentation. After acceptance, you will be asked to provide the proxy’s contact information. The proxy will be expected to coordinate in advance with the assigned committee member.
  3. There are no specific qualifications required for the proxy. However, the proxy will be responsible for bringing their own device, connecting it to the designated Zoom meeting, and projecting the presentation onto the screen at the venue.
  4. The proxy will not participate in the presentation itself or the Q&A session.
