The renovation of“Fieldnet” provided by ILCAA, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies
May 10, 2022
We are pleased to inform you that we have newly renovated “Fieldnet,” a website provided by Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa (ILCAA) for field workers. We hope you will see and utilize it for your publicity and information gathering. On our new website, in addition to collecting information concerning fieldwork such as announcements & reports of research events, recruitment & advertisement, and publications from members to publish them, we provide members’ profiles and special pages such as “COVID-19 and fieldworkers” to the public.
If you register in Fieldnet, you can post information such as announcements of research events and publications. The outlines of them will also be distributed to the members once a month by e-newsletter. Please take this opportunity to register yourself as a member. Any researchers conducting fieldwork can join it regardless of the affiliations. Graduate students are also welcomed.
Fieldnet aims to function as a network for researchers who conduct fieldwork. Our mission is to promote field research by creating a fellowship through online and offline activities. It would be very grateful if more people enjoy utilizing our activities.
